Ontario’s Critical Care Strategy, in partnership with the Ontario Hospital Association, has launched an educational video series regarding the intensive care unit and what patients and families may experience during their stay.
Utilizing Blomeley’s vodport1 technology, the challenge of communicating such important and complex information will be met by making the video available on the internet. The video is expected to reach an audience of approximately 50,000 people annually. With the information being easily accessible and up to date, vodport1 meets the needs perfectly. During its first weeks of availability, the vodport has served out over a thousand video streams. “The feedback we have received so far from the critical care community has been extremely positive” said Nathalie Danjoux, Senior Policy Analyst with the Critical Care Strategy. “We hope this video will help patients and families during these difficult times when their loved ones are in the intensive care unit.”
