Vintage Wings Canada – ” A Blast From the Past”

Last week I thought I had stepped into a time machine when I was taking a tour at the new Vintage Wings Canada Aerodrome with Gareth Dare (VWC Director of Sponsorship) and our mobile development partner John Guertin from Tradewind Networks. Wow…real war planes that fought in real wars. It is a very cool place!

(This next line is taken directly from the VWC website): Vintage Wings of Canada operates year round from its newly completed state-of-the-art hangar and maintenance facility at the Ottawa/Gatineau Airport (CYND) just 20 minutes from downtown Ottawa. Designed in the vernacular of early aviation facilities, this 23,000 sq ft purpose-built hangar houses not only our extensive collection of historic aircraft, but also complete maintenance facilities, aviation library, workshops, offices and other amenity spaces.

Not mentioned is their store with some great looking vintage apparel, posters, and all kind of worthy gifts.

Look for Silver Creek’s music on TruckGuysTV

Our indie band friends Shawn Travenier and Silver Creek are about to release a new album “Princes and Kings” music from their three CDs will be featured on the new TruckGuysTV website and the second season of the hit reality show “Ridin High: “. Silver Creek’s music is a great mix of country, rock, and indie. I think sort of like a new version of ‘The Band’.

Check out “Liam Maguire’s Ultimate Hockey” web site. If you are a hockey trivia fan or even a hockey fan in general you will like what Liam has to offer.

Knowing Liam, he will be at this every waking moment providing loads of trivia, facts, videos, blogs, opinion, and fan-type commentary on the game and everything around it. And since Liam is also simply a sports fan I know he will have to give his thoughts on every other sport he likes (I just saw a blog about the Super Bowl and Madonna…!).

I also heard he has become a twitter guy too…which fits into his personality of constantly providing a flow of facts, number, and names.

I think this website will be a hit, as I think Liam has finally found his zone, and his quality piece of real estate…albeit on the web.

The NHL All-Star Game is coming to Ottawa this week !!!

For anyone interested in hockey entertainment or better yet just good family fun, the NHL All-Star Game weekend is a worthwhile event to take in. The host city and local team along with the NHL usually put on a pretty good city wide celebration. Blomeley Communications have worked with the NHL for many years and it is always fun to be invovled in some capacity with the NHL’s special events. This years NHL All-Star game is in my home town Ottawa, which makes it even better. Congrats to Cyril Leeder, Jeff Kyle and the Ottawa Senators organization.
